Refund Policy
Last updated 2026-05-18.
We don't believe in trapping customers. This page sets out the refund commitments we make in our Terms of Service in plain language.
1. 14-day free trial
Every new account gets a 14-day free trial on the Starter or Pro plan. No credit card is required to start. The trial includes the same approval-gated workflow as a paid plan; we want you to ship a real week of marketing before deciding.
2. 14-day prorated refund
If you decide to cancel within 14 days of your first paid invoice on a monthly plan, we will refund the unused portion of that month. The proration is computed in days:
refund_usd = monthly_price_usd × (days_remaining_in_period / 30)
Refunds land on the original payment method within 5–10 business days. The refund is processed through Stripe; no additional fee is charged.
3. No forced annual commitment
All plans are billed monthly by default. If you choose an annual plan at checkout (when offered), you may still request a prorated refund within 14 days of the annual invoice. After that the annual commitment runs to term, but you can downgrade or cancel auto-renewal at any time.
4. Topup credit packs
Topup packs are one-time purchases that extend your credit ceiling beyond the plan included allowance. They are non-refundable once consumed. Unconsumed topup credits are refundable for 14 days after purchase. Any credits still unused after 90 days expire on the documented FIFO schedule.
5. Cancellation
Cancellation is a two-click flow from your billing settings. We do not bury the cancel button, we do not insert retention gauntlets, and we do not require you to talk to a human. Cancellation pauses scheduled publishes immediately and hands you a complete export of upcoming drafts.
6. How to request a refund
Email support@pappus.com from the address on your account, or reach us through the support page. Please include the invoice number; we'll confirm the proration calculation in the reply.
7. Exceptions
Refunds are not available where prohibited by applicable law, where the account has been suspended for material breach of the Terms, or where charges relate to fraud the original cardholder reasonably suspected.
